Maribor Cathedral is the Roman Catholic cathedral of Maribor, Slovenia, and the seat of the Diocese of Maribor. It dates back to the medieval period.

The interior and exterior show medieval architecture and subsequent alterations; the church occupies a prominent position on the city’s Main Square and is a short walk from the Drava River. Visitors typically notice the church tower and the building’s role in the compact Old Town streetscape.

The structure originated in the medieval era and has been altered and repaired over centuries to serve as the city’s main episcopal church. It has functioned continuously as the principal place of worship for Maribor’s Catholic community.

By road Maribor lies on the A1/E57 corridor from Ljubljana (about 130 km east, ~1.5 hours by car in normal traffic) and is roughly 70-80 km north of Graz; follow the A1/E57 from Ljubljana or the A9 from Graz to reach Maribor.
