Machalí is adjacent to Rancagua in Chile's O'Higgins Region. The town is most easily reached by road from Santiago (SCL) or by train to Rancagua (EFE/Metrotren) followed by a short taxi or bus ride.

By Air

Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL) / Carriel Sur (CCP): Santiago (SCL) or Concepción (CCP) are the main airports used to reach the O’Higgins and nearby regions; Machalí is most conveniently reached by road from Santiago or by transfer from Rancagua.

Local air services: There is no commercial airport in Machalí itself; surface travel is the norm for the final leg.

By Train & Bus

Train: Machalí is close to Rancagua, which is served by EFE commuter and intercity trains (Metrotren) on the Santiago-Rancagua corridor. Rancagua station is a common rail access point for Machalí.
