By Air

Bratislava Airport (BTS): For western Slovakia the capital airport is commonly used; from the airport take bus 61 to Bratislava main station (~25-30 minutes, ~€1-2) then a train or coach toward Žilina or local bus connections for Liesek’s area (overall travel time to Liesek around 3-4 hours depending on connections).

Poprad-Tatry Airport (TAT): Poprad is a regional gateway for northern Slovakia in high season. From Poprad airport a short bus or taxi brings you to Poprad station (~10-20 minutes, ~€1-2 or €8-15 by taxi), from where regional rail/bus services run toward Orava and the surrounding Žilina Region and then on to Liesek (1-2 hours additional travel).
