How to Get to Liesek#
Liesek is a small settlement in the Žilina Region; most visitors arrive via Slovakia’s larger airports or rail hubs and complete the journey by regional bus or taxi. Use Poprad-Tatry or Bratislava airports and Žilina or Poprad rail/bus stations as transfer points.
Bratislava Airport (BTS): For western Slovakia the capital airport is commonly used; from the airport take bus 61 to Bratislava main station (~25-30 minutes, ~€1-2) then a train or coach toward Žilina or local bus connections for Liesek’s area (overall travel time to Liesek around 3-4 hours depending on connections).
Poprad-Tatry Airport (TAT): Poprad is a regional gateway for northern Slovakia in high season.
