Lang Suan is a small town in Chumphon province reachable by rail on Thailand's Southern Line and by road from nearby Chumphon. The nearest airport is Chumphon Airport (CJM); many travellers also arrive overland from Bangkok by train or long‑distance coach.
Chumphon Airport (CJM): Chumphon Airport is the closest commercial airport to Lang Suan. From CJM you can take a metered taxi or local minivan toward Lang Suan - journey time is roughly 60-90 minutes; expect taxi fares in the range of about 400-800 THB and shared minivans to be cheaper (check prices at the arrivals hall).
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): Many travellers arrive via Bangkok and continue south. From Suvarnabhumi you can take an overnight or daytime train from Bangkok Thon Buri/ Hua Lamphong area to Lang Suan (see train card) or a long‑distance bus/coach from Southern Bus Terminal; road travel from Bangkok to Lang Suan is typically 7-9 hours by coach (coach fares commonly range from ~400-800 THB depending on class).
