By Air

Lajes Airport (TER): Lajes (also called Lajes Field) is Terceira Island’s airport and the closest air gateway to Praia da Vitória. The airport is a short drive (about 10-15 minutes) from Praia da Vitória; taxis take roughly 10-15 minutes and generally cost around €8-15. Car rental desks are available at the airport for island exploration.

Ponta Delgada (PDL): If you arrive into São Miguel (Ponta Delgada) you will need an inter-island flight to Terceira (TER) or a ferry connection; inter-island flights take about 30-45 minutes. Check SATA/Azores Airlines schedules for frequent island connections.

By Train & Bus

Train: There are no train services on Terceira or elsewhere in the Azores.
