Laguna Lachuá is a near-circular freshwater lake in the Alta Verapaz department of Guatemala, set within a protected area. It is notable for its clear water and intact surrounding rainforest.

The lake sits in a forested karst depression and offers short boat trips, wildlife viewing and riverside trails through humid forest. Birdwatching and sightings of monkeys, reptiles and freshwater fish are common in the immediate lakeshore zone.

The lake and its surrounding forest were designated a protected area to conserve the site’s biological diversity and watershed; the protected-status management focuses on low-impact visitor access and habitat preservation.
