How to Get to Labin
Labin is most easily reached by flying into Pula (PUY) or Rijeka (RJK) and continuing by regional bus; there is no direct rail service into the town. Buses from Pula and Rijeka serve Labin frequently, particularly in the tourist season.
Pula Airport (PUY): Pula is the closest airport for Labin on the Istrian peninsula. From Pula airport take a taxi or bus into Pula city and then a regional bus to Labin; total travel time is typically 30-60 minutes. Regional bus fares from Pula to Labin are modest (usually a few dozen kuna).
Rijeka Airport (RJK): Rijeka is another option (especially off-season or for some low-cost flights). From Rijeka, reach Rijeka city and then take a bus or drive to Labin; travel time is commonly around 45-90 minutes depending on connections.
Train: Istria’s rail network is limited and does not directly serve Labin; the practical public-transport option is by bus.
Bus: Labin is served by regular regional bus services from Pula, Rijeka and other Istrian towns (station: Autobusni kolodvor Labin). Buses are the most reliable and frequent option - journeys are generally 20-60 minutes depending on origin and cost a modest fare in HRK.

Labin’s medieval hilltop centre is very walkable but steep; allow time for narrow lanes and steps.
