How to Get to La Alianza
La Alianza is a locality in the Arecibo area on Puerto Rico's north coast. Visitors typically fly into San Juan (SJU) and continue by road via rental car, taxi or intercity bus.
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU): San Juan’s airport is the primary arrival point for Arecibo-area destinations; from SJU the drive to La Alianza (Arecibo municipality) is roughly 45-80 minutes depending on traffic and exact location. Car rental, taxis and ride-hail services are available at the airport.
Rafael Hernández International Airport (BQN): For west-coast access, BQN can be an alternative depending on flight options; ground travel from BQN to Arecibo-area locations will take longer and typically requires a rental car or taxi.
Train: There is no intercity passenger rail service to Arecibo/La Alianza.
Bus: Intercity buses and private guaguas connect Arecibo with San Juan and other towns; trip times vary around 45-90 minutes from San Juan depending on stops. Local buses cover shorter routes within the municipality.
How to Get Around La Alianza #
