How to Get to Knokke-Heist
Knokke‑Heist is best reached by rail from Bruges and Brussels or via regional flights into Ostend. The town has a station (Knokke) and excellent coastal tram/bus connections for local travel.
Ostend-Bruges International Airport (OST): The closest small airport to Knokke‑Heist. From Ostend you can take a train to Knokke; travel time is about 30-45 minutes with a change in Bruges. Single train tickets are usually under €10.
Brussels Airport (BRU, Zaventem): From Brussels Airport take the train to Brussels Midi (via Brussels‑Nord/Bruxelles‑Central) then an Intercity to Knokke (via Bruges). Total journey time is about 1.5-2 hours; expect fares in the €15-€25 range depending on booking/time.
