Kinuta Park

Kinuta Park is a public urban park in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, known for large open lawns, sports facilities and tree-lined areas. The park includes cultural and recreational amenities and functions as a major green space in western Tokyo.

The park offers open grassy areas, playgrounds and multiple sports facilities including baseball and soccer fields, plus pockets of woodland and rows of cherry trees that attract spring crowds. The Setagaya Art Museum is located within the park and provides cultural programming adjacent to the park’s green spaces.

The site was developed as public parkland in the postwar period and has since been maintained as a municipal green space with added cultural and sporting facilities. Management focuses on recreational use and seasonal events.

Kinuta Park sits in Setagaya Ward in western Tokyo near the Kinuta neighbourhood; the park interior contains the Setagaya Art Museum and is well connected to local residential areas and public transport.
