Khenifiss National Park is a coastal reserve on Morocco’s Atlantic margin that protects a large lagoon, adjacent dunes and undeveloped shoreline in the country’s south-western Atlantic zone.
The park’s central lagoon and estuarine areas form a key habitat for migratory and resident waterbirds, while its sand dunes and beaches provide a largely uninterrupted coastal landscape. The park stretches along Morocco’s southwestern Atlantic coast near the town of Tan‑Tan and Laâyoune.
