How to Get to Karavan, Batken#
Karavan in Batken Region is reached primarily by road from Osh or other southern Kyrgyz centres. There are no convenient passenger rail links into most of Batken Region; expect long marshrutka or taxi journeys.
Osh International Airport (OSS): Osh is the closest larger airport with scheduled domestic and some international flights; from Osh you will travel overland to Batken Region by road. Travel times from Osh to Batken regional centres are long (several hours), and road conditions vary.
Bishkek Manas International (FRU): For international arrivals you may land at Bishkek (FRU) and then take domestic transport to the south; this is a much longer route by road and/or domestic flight into the south if available.
