Domestic flights to Osh typically cost from about 5,000-12,000 KGS one-way (price varies by season) and take ~1 hour; from Osh you will need a taxi or shared minibus to reach Batken-area towns (2-4 hours, see below).
Osh Airport (OSS): The main airport for southern Kyrgyzstan. From Osh city centre to Batken-region destinations the usual option is a shared marshrutka or taxi. Shared marshrutkas to nearby regional towns typically cost around 200-600 KGS and travel times to Batken-area towns are commonly 2-4 hours depending on exact destination and border checks.
Train: Kyrgyzstan has very limited passenger rail coverage between major cities (Bishkek-Osh services are irregular). There is no direct passenger rail service to Batken Region-overland buses and minibuses are the reliable option.
