Kamet Mountain
Prominent Kumaon Himalaya peak, significant high-altitude climbing objective
A high Himalayan peak in Uttarakhand above 7,000 metres, Kamet attracts mountaineers for its long approaches from the Joshimath region and classic Himalayan expeditions rather than casual tourism.
