Kalenderhane Mosque is an Ottoman-era mosque in Istanbul’s historic peninsula that occupies a building originally constructed as a Byzantine church. The structure preserves architectural elements from its Byzantine phase alongside later Ottoman alterations made when it was converted to a mosque.

Significant surviving features include parts of the older church fabric, fragments of mosaic and carved stone capitals that were revealed and conserved during restoration work in the 20th century.
