How to Get to Jerada
Jerada is best reached via Oujda (regional rail and airport connections) with a final road transfer by taxi or bus. Regional bus operators provide economical services; a car is convenient for exploring the surrounding mining and rural areas.
Oujda Angads Airport (OUD) / Nador International (NDR) / Casablanca / Rabat airports: Jerada is in Morocco’s Oriental region; the nearest commercial airports with regular international flights are Oujda Angads (about 70-90 km east of Jerada) and Nador (further north). From Oujda airport you can reach Jerada by taxi or regional bus in around 1-1.5 hours depending on route.
Major hubs: Casablanca or Rabat are farther away and require a long drive or rail to Oujda/Nador followed by road transfer to Jerada.
