Jerada is best reached via Oujda (regional rail and airport connections) with a final road transfer by taxi or bus. Regional bus operators provide economical services; a car is convenient for exploring the surrounding mining and rural areas.

By Air

Oujda Angads Airport (OUD) / Nador International (NDR) / Casablanca / Rabat airports: Jerada is in Morocco’s Oriental region; the nearest commercial airports with regular international flights are Oujda Angads (about 70-90 km east of Jerada) and Nador (further north). From Oujda airport you can reach Jerada by taxi or regional bus in around 1-1.5 hours depending on route.

Major hubs: Casablanca or Rabat are farther away and require a long drive or rail to Oujda/Nador followed by road transfer to Jerada.

By Train & Bus

Train: Morocco’s ONCF rail network serves Oujda but does not run directly into Jerada; the nearest mainline station is Oujda. From Oujda station you can take a taxi or bus to Jerada (roughly 1-1.5 hours by road).
