By Air

Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO): The closest major international airport for Jacó, about 1.5-2 hours by road depending on traffic. Shared shuttles and private transfers take about 1.5-2 hours; expect shuttle prices around USD 20-40 and private transfers USD 60-100.

Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR): LIR is farther (roughly 3.5-5+ hours to Jacó by road) and not typically used for Jacó arrivals unless combining itineraries in Guanacaste.

By Train & Bus

Train: Costa Rica’s railway network does not provide practical passenger service to Jacó for most travellers.
