Ilhéu de Sal Rei is a small uninhabited islet located immediately off the town of Sal Rei on the northwest coast of Boa Vista island, Cape Verde. It sits close to the shore and is a conspicuous feature from the town’s harbor and beaches.
The islet is primarily rocky and does not host permanent habitation; it is often approached by small boats for short visits and offers views back to Sal Rei and the surrounding sand beaches. The islet contributes to the coastal scenery but has limited visitor facilities.
No major historical structures are widely recorded on the islet; its importance is mainly as a local landmark and coastal feature. It lies within the municipal waters of Boa Vista.
