Île Sainte-Marguerite is the largest of the Lérins Islands off the coast of Cannes in the Bay of Cannes. It is known for its wooded interior, coastal paths and a prominent historic fortress.

The island’s main attraction is the Fort Royal, which contains the Musée de la Mer with displays on shipwreck archaeology and the island’s history. Visitors also follow shore paths, swim at small coves, and use picnic and walking areas beneath pine and eucalyptus trees.
