How to Get Around Hsipaw #
Hsipaw’s center is compact and pleasant to walk, with cafes and guesthouses clustered around the main street. Short distances are commonly covered on foot, by bicycle, or using motorbike taxis; fares are inexpensive but should be agreed beforehand. For longer trips there are local buses and shared pickups to Lashio and other towns. If you plan treks to nearby villages hire a guide and arrange transport through your guesthouse; carry cash as card acceptance is rare.
