The Horta Museum in Brussels is the former home and studio of Belgian Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta, located in the Saint-Gilles district. The house displays original furnishings, decorative details and the architect’s own workspace.

Visitors encounter intact architectural elements and decorative schemes characteristic of Horta’s Art Nouveau style, including fluid ironwork, mosaics and custom-designed furniture. The museum presents the designer’s domestic and professional environment and occasional temporary exhibitions on related themes.

The museum building occupies a townhouse in central Brussels and is managed as a heritage site documenting late 19th- and early 20th-century design and architecture.

• Book timed tickets in advance - the Horta Museum is a historic house museum with limited entry slots and popular weekend times sell out.
• Join one of the guided tours (when available) or use the museum's audio/printed guide to access upper floors and the studio space; many visitors see the ground floor only and miss Horta's preserved interior details.
• Note that photography inside is often restricted and that the best way to appreciate the glass, ironwork and custom furniture is during quieter weekday slots when staff can answer questions about the house's layout.
