How to Get to Villa Nueva
Villa Nueva lies within the Tegucigalpa metropolitan area and is reached most easily via Tegucigalpa's airports. There are no trains - city buses, colectivos, taxis and private transfers cover local transport needs.
Tegucigalpa - Toncontín (TGU) and Palmerola (XPL): Villa Nueva (Francisco Morazán Department) is close to Tegucigalpa, so arriving at Tegucigalpa’s airports (Toncontín or the newer Palmerola/Comayagua) is most convenient. From Tegucigalpa city centre the drive to Villa Nueva typically takes 20-50 minutes depending on traffic and route; taxis, rideshares and private transfers are available.
San Pedro Sula (SAP): If you fly into San Pedro Sula, expect a considerably longer road transfer (several hours) to reach Villa Nueva/Tegucigalpa region by bus or car.
