How to Get to Højer
Højer is in Denmark's South Jutland near the German border; the easiest international access is via Billund or Bremen airports and then by train to Tønder or by car. Regional buses and taxis handle the short last-mile connections to Højer.
Bremen Airport (BRE): Bremen is one of the closer airports for Højer (South Denmark), with a car journey across the border around 1.5-2 hours depending on border crossing and route. Rental cars and taxis are available at Bremen airport.
Billund Airport (BLL) / Copenhagen (CPH): Billund (BLL) is another convenient Danish airport with domestic and European connections; driving from Billund to Højer takes around 1.5-2 hours. Copenhagen (CPH) is farther (about 3-4 hours by car or train) but the largest international hub if necessary.
Train: Danish State Railways (DSB) and regional trains serve nearby larger towns; the nearest significant rail hub is in Tønder with services from Esbjerg and other Danish cities. From Tønder you can take a local bus or taxi to Højer (short road journey).
