Hampden Park is Scotland’s national football stadium located in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow and functions as the primary venue for the Scottish national team and major domestic cup finals. It is also used for concerts and large sporting events.

The stadium seats roughly 51,000 spectators and contains modern facilities for international football, club fixtures and occasional concerts. It regularly hosts the Scottish Cup final, national team matches and UEFA fixtures when selected.

The original Hampden was established by Queen’s Park Football Club in the early 20th century; the current bowl reflects later redevelopment and modernization carried out at the end of the 20th century to meet contemporary stadium standards. It has been altered and upgraded several times to add seating, hospitality and media facilities.

Hampden Park is situated in the south of Glasgow, in the Mount Florida district, approximately a few kilometres from the city centre and within easy public transport distance of central Glasgow.

Hampden Park is in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow. Take ScotRail trains from Glasgow Central to Mount Florida station - the stadium is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. On matchdays there are additional rail services and local buses that serve the area; there is also road access from Glasgow city centre with nearby matchday parking and pedestrian routes to the ground.

• Use Mount Florida railway station (a short walk from the stadium) rather than driving on match or event days - trains serve the station frequently and matchday traffic and parking around Hampden are heavily congested.
• Book stadium tour and Scottish Football Museum tickets in advance for non‑match days; tours fill on weekends and school holidays and give access to areas not open during events.
• If you're attending a match, arrive at least an hour early to pass security and find your seat; stewarding and city centre transport ramps up close to kick‑off and leaving immediately after full‑time can delay your exit.
