Grūtas Park is an open-air sculpture museum in southern Lithuania near Druskininkai that exhibits Soviet-era statues and related artifacts. The park arranges large public monuments in an outdoor setting and supplements them with interpretive displays.
The site opened in 2001 and was created to collect and present public monuments from the Soviet period that were removed from Lithuanian streets after independence. The collection includes statuary of Soviet leaders and ideological themes and is presented with contextual museum material.

How to Get to Grūtas Park
Grūtas Park is located just outside the spa town of Druskininkai in southern Lithuania - roughly a 10-15 km drive from Druskininkai depending on route. By car it is commonly reached from Druskininkai via local roads; parking is available on-site and the park is a short walk from the car park. From Vilnius it is typically a 1.5-2 hour drive (roughly 130-150 km) south.
Seasonal local buses and tourist shuttles run from Druskininkai to Grūtas Park in peak months; if using public transport, travel to Druskininkai first (by intercity bus or train from Vilnius) and then take the local bus or a short taxi ride to the park.
