How to Get to Fuwwah
Fuwwah is a town in Kafr El Sheikh Governorate in Egypt's Nile Delta. The nearest major airports are Borg El Arab (Alexandria) and Cairo International; the town is well connected by the national rail and road bus networks for travel across the delta.
Cairo International Airport (CAI): The main international gateway for northern Egypt; from CAI to Fuwwah expect a 3-4 hour drive (depending on route) - taxis and private transfers are the most direct option. Borg El Arab Airport (HBE): Serving Alexandria, Borg El Arab is closer for Kafr El Sheikh Governorate; road transfer to Fuwwah takes about 1.5-2.5 hours by car or bus.
Train: Fuwwah is served by Egyptian National Railways on the Nile‑Delta network; trains link to major delta cities such as Kafr El Sheikh, Tanta and Alexandria. Travel times are short between delta towns and fares are low.
Bus: Microbuses and coach services run across the Nile Delta connecting Fuwwah with Kafr El Sheikh city and Alexandria. Buses are frequent and inexpensive-expect short trips (30-90 minutes) at low fares (a few to a few dozen EGP).
