Fifth Avenue is a principal north-south avenue in Manhattan, New York City, famed for its shopping, cultural institutions and iconic city landmarks. It functions as both a commercial thoroughfare and a ceremonial address line for major Manhattan buildings.

A distinguished section of the avenue runs along the east side of Central Park from 59th Street to 110th Street, where it also hosts a concentration of museums known as Museum Mile.
