How to Get to El Ayyat
El Ayyat (Giza Governorate) lies on the Cairo-Aswan rail corridor and is straightforward to reach via Cairo's transport network. The town is frequently accessed by regional trains from Ramses Station or by minibuses/taxis from Cairo and Giza.
Cairo International Airport (CAI): Cairo International is the main airport used to reach El Ayyat. From CAI take a taxi or airport shuttle into central Cairo (45-60 minutes); from central Cairo you can take regional trains or buses toward Giza and El Ayyat or arrange a taxi for the ~40-60 minute onward trip.
Regional / domestic airports: Domestic arrivals that land outside Cairo will still generally route through Cairo for the short trip to El Ayyat.
Train: El Ayyat is on Egypt’s Cairo-Aswan railway line; regional trains run from Cairo’s Ramses (Misr) Station and stop at El Ayyat. Trains are a common, inexpensive option (fares typically low for 2nd/3rd class) and take roughly 30-60 minutes from Cairo depending on service.
