Yiwu / Jinhua / Hangzhou airports (regional gateways): Dongyang (Zhejiang) does not have a major international airport of its own; nearby airports at Yiwu (YIW), Jinhua (JHG) and Hangzhou Xiaoshan (HGH) serve the region. From these airports you can take a taxi or high-speed train to Dongyang - travel times range from about 30 minutes (from Yiwu) to 1-2 hours (from Hangzhou) depending on traffic and service.
Shanghai - alternative: Shanghai’s airports (PVG/SHA) are further away but offer the widest international connections; onward travel to Dongyang typically involves high-speed rail or a connecting flight to a regional airport plus road transfer.
