Doi Tung Royal Villa is a hilltop royal residence and museum on Doi Tung in northern Thailand’s Chiang Rai province. It forms part of the Mae Fah Luang Gardens complex and is associated with the Doi Tung Development initiatives.
The villa contains period rooms and displays relating to the life and work of the Princess Mother (Srinagarindra), and the site includes formal European-style gardens and landscaped terraces. Visitors use the villa as a museum and as a base for walking the surrounding gardens.
The building served as a royal residence and as a project headquarters for development and reforestation work instituted on Doi Tung. It was subsequently opened to the public with preserved interior rooms and interpretive displays.
