Disney California Adventure is part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, immediately adjacent to Disneyland Park at the intersection of Disneyland Drive and Katella Avenue (near Harbor Boulevard). By car take I‑5 to the Disneyland Drive/Katella Avenue or Harbor Boulevard exits and use the resort parking structures; the two parks are adjacent and easily reached on foot from the main parking areas. Public transit options include the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) shuttles that serve the resort from nearby transit hubs.

• Be at the gates of Disney California Adventure at opening and head immediately to Radiator Springs Racers or the newest high-demand attraction in Avengers Campus - those rides accumulate long waits fast.
• Enter from the Esplanade/Main Street side for the shortest route into the park's core and to position yourself to choose either Pixar Pier or Avengers Campus at rope drop.
• Don't skip Buena Vista Street's small exhibits and window details - they're less crowded and offer a quick, atmospheric break during the park's busiest midday hours.
