Dipor Bil (also spelled Deepor Beel) is a freshwater lake and associated wetland on the southwestern outskirts of Guwahati in Assam, India, and is an important regional wildlife habitat. The site supports wetland plants, fish and many bird species and has been recognized for its ecological importance.
Key activities are birdwatching and short nature walks along boardwalks and lakeside paths; the wetland is a refuge for resident waterbirds and draws migratory species in winter. The area is managed for conservation under regional protection measures and subject to pressures from urban expansion.
