How to Get to Davis Mountains #
The Davis Mountains are accessed via US-90 and regional roads to Fort Davis. From Alpine, Texas, it is roughly a 45-minute drive; from Marfa about an hour. The McDonald Observatory is reached via State Highway 118 north of Fort Davis.
