Dalaffilla is a volcanic cone in the Afar region of northeastern Ethiopia, situated within the East African Rift system and the Danakil Depression. The feature is one of several volcanic centers that occur where the continental crust is rifting.
The cone and surrounding lava fields display typical fissure and cone volcanism associated with the rift, and the area is of interest to volcanologists studying continental breakup and basaltic eruptions. The volcanic terrain is largely barren and sparsely inhabited.
