Cristóbal is on the Colón side of the Panama Canal and is most commonly reached from Panama City. Tocumen Airport (PTY) is the main international gateway; buses from Albrook terminal or private transfers take you to Cristóbal/Colón.

By Air

Tocumen International Airport (PTY): Tocumen in Panama City is the main international gateway for Colón Province. From PTY you can take a taxi or a shuttle to Albrook/Metro and catch an express bus to Colón (around 80-90 km) or book a direct private transfer. Road journeys to Cristóbal/Colón take roughly 1.5-2.5 hours depending on traffic; private transfers cost significantly more than buses.

Enrique Adolfo Jiménez Airport (PAC) / Marcos A. Gelabert (PAC alternative): For some domestic flights there are closer regional options, but Tocumen remains the practical arrival point for international visitors heading to Cristóbal and Colón.
