City of Manchester Stadium, commercially known as the Etihad Stadium, is a large multi-purpose stadium in east Manchester that serves as the home ground of Manchester City Football Club. It was constructed for the 2002 Commonwealth Games and adapted for long-term football use.

From Manchester city centre you can take the Manchester Metrolink trams toward Ashton and alight at Etihad Campus (a short 5-10 minute walk to the stadium), or walk from Piccadilly/Victoria in about 20-30 minutes. By car follow the M60 and exit toward Ashton/New Road (A6010/A662); matchday parking is managed locally.
