- MV Ilala / Lake Ferry - The historic MV Ilala and other lake ferries serve lakeshore towns on scheduled runs; these offer an alternative to road travel and are useful for moving between lakeside communities. Schedules and ticket availability change seasonally-buy tickets locally and allow for slow, scenic voyages.
