- Local walking around the town - Chinguetti’s old town is compact and best explored on foot; paths between historic sites are short but be prepared for heat and sand. Bring sun protection and water.
- Camel or trek (touristic) (varies (book locally)) - Some guided excursions offer camel treks or short desert walks as part of cultural tours around Chinguetti. These are organised through local operators and are seasonal.
