Chaiyo in Ang Thong province is most easily reached by road from Bangkok. Use trains to nearby Ayutthaya or catch buses/minivans from Bangkok terminals for affordable connections; taxis complete short local transfers.
Don Mueang (DMK) / Suvarnabhumi (BKK): Chaiyo (Ang Thong province) is reached by road from Bangkok’s airports. From Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi the drive is about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on traffic; private transfers cost roughly 800-1,800 THB. There is no nearby commercial airport in Ang Thong itself.
Phon Phisai / regional airports: There are no regular commercial flights directly into Ang Thong; travelers typically use Bangkok airports and continue by road or bus.
