Cardiff City Stadium is a modern football stadium in the Leckwith district of Cardiff, Wales, opened in 2009 and serving as the principal professional football venue in the city. It replaced the club’s former ground and is the regular home of Cardiff City FC.

The stadium features covered seating on all sides and is used for league matches, domestic cup fixtures and occasional concerts. Facilities include corporate and hospitality suites and adjacent transport links for matchday crowds.

The stadium was developed as part of a wider Leckwith regeneration scheme and has been the focal point for the club since opening. Management and upgrades have been undertaken to meet league standards and spectator requirements.

The nearest rail stop is Ninian Park station (Valley Lines), about a 10-15 minute walk from the stadium; from Cardiff Central it’s a short local train or a 25-35 minute walk. By car the stadium is roughly 3-4 km from Cardiff city centre via the A48, with easy motorway access from the M4 at Junction 33.

• Use Ninian Park railway station on matchdays - it's the closest stop to Cardiff City Stadium and short walking distance, which is usually quicker than driving and avoids limited on-site parking.
• Arrive at least 45-60 minutes before kick-off when gates open to avoid long queues for turnstiles and merchandise stalls; leaving straight away after full-time pools crowds onto the same transport links, so consider lingering briefly in nearby pubs or the plaza to let the peak disperse.
