Camiguin de Babuyanes is a volcanic island in the Babuyan Islands group in the Philippines, located in the Luzon Strait north of mainland Luzon. It is one of several islands that make up the Babuyan archipelago within Cagayan administrative region.
The island is volcanic in origin and forms part of the island arc aligned across northern Luzon, with steep terrain and limited coastal plains. Islands in this group are noted for remote landscapes and sparse settlement patterns.
Administratively the island falls within the Cagayan Valley region and is positioned in the northern maritime zone of the Philippines, surrounded by open sea and other small volcanic islands.
