How to Get to Brataj
Brataj is a small locality in Vlorë County best reached by road; Tirana International Airport (TIA) is the main international airport for arrivals. Albania's limited rail network means intercity buses, minibuses and private cars are the usual ways to get to rural villages like Brataj.
Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza (TIA): The main international gateway for Vlorë County and most of Albania. From TIA you can travel by domestic bus or rental car toward Vlorë and then on local roads to Brataj; total travel time to Brataj by road is several hours (approx. 2.5-4+ hours depending on route and stops).
Tivat Airport (TIV) / Corfu (CFU) seasonal options: For some coastal areas travellers use nearby international airports in Montenegro or seasonal ferry connections from Corfu, Greece, but those are less direct and involve longer overland transfers to Vlorë County.
Train: Albania’s rail network is limited and does not provide reliable intercity services to Vlorë County; trains are not a practical option for most travellers to Brataj.
