Arena Khimki Stadium

Arena Khimki is a multiuse stadium located in the town of Khimki in Moscow Oblast, part of the greater Moscow metropolitan area. It was built in the 2000s to serve professional football and event use.

The stadium is used primarily for football and for occasional concerts and events, and has seating for spectators in the tens of thousands. It has served as the home ground for FC Khimki and has hosted matches for other Moscow clubs on occasion.

The venue was completed in the 2000s to modernise sporting facilities in Khimki and to provide a medium-sized stadium option in the Moscow suburbs. Since opening it has been used for domestic league matches and other public events.

Arena Khimki sits in the suburban town of Khimki, north-west of central Moscow, within the Moscow Oblast and the wider Moscow urban area.

By car: Arena Khimki is located in the town of Khimki just off Leningradskoye Shosse (the M10) northwest of central Moscow, approximately 15-25 km from the city centre depending on the route; follow Leningradskoye Shosse toward Khimki and follow local signs for the stadium (stadium parking is arranged on event days).

By public transport: take suburban (elektrichka) trains from Moscow’s Leningradsky/Russky directions to Khimki station, then either walk (around 15-25 minutes depending on which platform you arrive at) or take a short local bus or taxi for the final stretch.

• On event days, arrive at least 60-90 minutes before kickoff to allow for traffic, parking constraints and security checks around the arena.
• Use public transport where possible and check your ticket for the assigned entrance/gate in advance to avoid last-minute confusion and queues.
