Ao Lo Dalam
Beach Small sheltered bay and beach in Thailand
A shallow bay on Phi Phi Don used for short beach stops, boat landings and snorkeling excursions to nearby reefs. Travelers use it as a base for island-hopping and day trips in the Andaman Sea.
Ao Lo Dalam (often spelled Ao Loh Dalum) is a sheltered bay on the western shore of Ko Phi Phi Don in southern Thailand. The bay forms a curved sandy beach backed by steep vegetated slopes and is separated from the island’s main harbor by a low headland. It is commonly used for swimming, snorkeling, and short beach visits from longtail boats. The bay lies close to the main village area and the island viewpoint that looks over both Loh Dalum and Ton Sai bays.
- Water activities: Shallow, sheltered waters make the bay suitable for swimming and snorkeling in calm conditions.
- Nearby viewpoint: The bay sits adjacent to the island's main settlement and is visible from the island viewpoint that overlooks both bays.
