How to Get to Anié
Anié in Plateaux Region is reached overland after arriving at Lomé's international airport (LFW) or via regional border crossings. There are no direct rail links; intercity buses and shared taxis provide the common public connections through the region.
Lomé-Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport (LFW): The main international gateway for southern Togo and the Plateaux Region. From Lomé the journey to Anié is by road; direct flights into Anié do not exist. Ground travel from Lomé to Anié typically takes multiple hours by car or shared taxi, depending on traffic and road condition.
Regional airports / land crossings: Some travelers use nearby regional airports or international border crossings in neighboring Ghana; overland connections then continue to Plateaux towns by bus or shared taxi. Allow extra time for border formalities and variable road conditions.
Train: Togo has no extensive passenger rail network linking Lomé with interior Plateaux towns; rail is not a practical option for reaching Anié.
