Mount Agou Mountain

Mount Agou is a granite inselberg and the highest peak in Togo, reaching about 986 metres above sea level. It is a notable physical high point in the Plateaux region.

The mountain is popular for short hikes across forested slopes and rocky outcrops; routes from nearby villages rise to the summit and offer panoramic views across the surrounding hills and farmland. Trails are typically day hikes and can include steep sections and exposed rock near the top.
