Andringitra National Park is a protected area in central-southern Madagascar in Haute Matsiatra, known for a rugged granite massif and high-elevation landscapes. The park was designated a national park in 1999.
The park is frequented for hiking and scrambling across rocky ridges and valleys, with trails that reach alpine-like terrain and expose large altitude ranges up to the summit of Pic Boby at about 2,658 metres. Rivers and waterfalls cut the massif, and the area supports a diversity of microhabitats from humid slopes to high-elevation grasslands.
Andringitra was set aside as a protected area to conserve its distinctive landscapes and endemic species; management has emphasized both biodiversity protection and controlled trekking. Over time local communities have been involved in park management and eco-tourism initiatives.

- Attempt popular routes (including the Pic Boby approach) in the dry season (May-October) when scrambling on the granite peaks is safest and trails are not waterlogged. Many day visitors miss the highland pastoral landscapes and the dramatic granite boulder fields above the tree line, best seen on overnight treks.
- Avoid the busiest mid-morning start times by leaving pre-dawn for the main ascents; that both reduces encounter rates with other groups on narrow ridges and gives the best sunrise views from higher vantage points.
