How to Get to Akka, Morocco

Akka (Souss-Massa) is best reached by road from regional hubs such as Agadir or Guelmim; there is no direct national rail service into many smaller towns in this part of Morocco. Buses and shared taxis are the standard local connectors.

By Air

Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA): Agadir is the closest major airport to Akka in Souss-Massa (about 60-120 km depending on exact Akka location). From AGA you can take a bus or taxi to Agadir city (20-40 min) then a regional bus or grand taxi south toward Akka; overall travel time can be 2-3 hours and taxi fares vary widely.

Guelmim (GLN): For southern approaches, Guelmim airport is closer to parts of the region. From Guelmim you will typically transfer to shared taxis or regional buses to reach Akka (journeys vary by route and can take 1-3 hours).

By Train & Bus
