How to Get to Ajdir
Ajdir (near Al Hoceima) is most easily reached by flying into Al Hoceima Airport (AHU) or by road from Nador/Tetouan. There is no rail service to the immediate area; buses and shared taxis are the normal local choices.
Al Hoceima - Cherif Al Idrissi Airport (AHU): The nearest airport serving Al Hoceima province. From AHU you can reach Ajdir by taxi or local coach; the airport is the most practical arrival point for this coastal area.
Nador International (NDR) / Tetouan (TTU): For some international arrivals Nador or Tetouan may be used and then you travel by road to the Al Hoceima area; road transfers are longer (1.5-3+ hours depending on route).
Train: There is no direct national rail access to Ajdir; Morocco’s ONCF rail network does not serve the immediate Al Hoceima coastal area.
Bus / Grand Taxi: Intercity coach companies (local carriers and CTM in Morocco) operate routes to Al Hoceima city; from Al Hoceima you can take local petit taxis or shared taxis to Ajdir. Bus times vary by operator; shared taxis are common for short hops along the coast.
