How to Get to Abu Ghosh
Abu Ghosh, a village west of Jerusalem, is easiest reached from Ben Gurion Airport via Tel Aviv or Jerusalem with a short onward bus or taxi. There is no direct rail service to the village; buses and taxis handle most public transport links.
Ben Gurion Airport (TLV): Ben Gurion is Israel’s main international airport. From TLV take the train to Tel Aviv or Lod and then onward trains or buses toward Jerusalem and the Jerusalem District; from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv a direct bus or short taxi will bring you to Abu Ghosh. Door-to-door travel from the airport to Abu Ghosh typically takes around 40-70 minutes depending on mode and traffic.
Sde Dov/Ramon (domestic options): For some domestic itineraries you may use regional airports, but Ben Gurion remains the primary international gateway for Abu Ghosh access.
Train: Israel Railways serves Tel Aviv and Lod; there is no direct national rail stop at Abu Ghosh.
Bus: Egged and other operators run buses from Jerusalem (and Tel Aviv) toward Abu Ghosh and neighbouring villages (routes and numbers can change). From Jerusalem central bus station the trip is short; buses are frequent during the day and taxis are a practical alternative for evenings.
